What is Rotetro?+

Rotetro is a falling-block puzzle for iOS. Instead of landing on a flat floor, pieces land on a glowing central core that grows outward on all four sides. Fill the glowing target shape to advance through the level catalog.

How is it different from a classic falling-block game?+

There's no floor to clear lines against. Where a landed piece supports itself on the structure decides whether the whole board turns left, holds, or turns right — so positioning matters as much as clearing space.

Is Rotetro free?+

Yes. Rotetro has no ads and no in-app purchases.

What platforms does it support?+

iOS is the only supported platform right now.

Do I need an internet connection to play?+

No. Rotetro is a local, single-player game — your progress lives on your device.

How does Resume work?+

RESUME appears on the menu whenever there's recovery data. It restores your exact in-progress run when one exists; otherwise it offers the highest level you've ever reached, on a clean board, with score reset to 0.

I lost a run — can I get it back?+

After a game over, RETRY LEVEL rebuilds that level from its checkpoint on a clean board with score 0. From the menu, RESUME always offers at least the highest level you've reached, so a rough run never sets you back permanently.

What are the controls?+

Drag horizontally to move a piece across columns, tap to rotate, drag downward to nudge down one row at a time. On a keyboard: arrow keys to move, up or X to rotate, down to soft drop, and space for a hard drop.

Does Rotetro collect my personal data?+

Rotetro sends anonymous gameplay analytics and crash reports to help us fix bugs — no accounts, no personal data, no ad tracking. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

I found a bug or have feedback — who do I tell?+

Email us at [email protected] with as much detail as you can (what you were doing, what level, what happened). We read every message.
